Motorola; City Strips
For Jack Liberties, London
We were engaged at the very inception of this global art installation project. 'City Strips' is a worldwide buzz marketing project for Motorola, tying in with the launch of a range of PEBL phones. We devised the original creative treatment for the ambient campaign, using interconnecting multi-coloured parallel lines, designed onto strips of floor graphics.
In each location, the strips were installed under cover of darkness, to be discovered the next day by passers-by. The City Strips campaign started in May 2006 at New York's Bryant Park in Manhattan. It then moved to Michigan Avenue in Chicago. In the following months, installations were created in 10 cities across the world.
