Life in a Day

For Google Creative Lab, London

Digital production of the YouTube channel powering the Life in a Day Project, a historic global experiment to create a user-generated feature film, shot on the 24th July.

We created a suite of apps on the channel including an interactive globe showing the user uploads live as well as a heat map illustrating which parts of the globe are most active in the experiment.

The site allows users to view uploads of videos on the 24th of July by scrubbing a timeline viewing videos submitted as part of this groundbreaking campaign.

The campaign holds the record for the most video uploads for a YouTube competition.
