The BBC has commissioned this unique project to capture an authentic and wide ranging snapshot of modern Britain on Saturday 12 November 2011. The finished film will form an important part of the BBC2 contribution to the Cultural Olympiad in 2012.
Filmed by you and directed by Morgan Matthews the final film will premiere in cinemas and be broadcast on BBC ahead of the Olympics next year.
The channel is the main portal for users to find out about how they can take part and finally to submit their footage. Viewers are asked to take part in the campaign by recording their day on 12th November 2011.
Our backend software, campaign platform manages all the entrants, and their details such as tags, location, camera details and user info, as an archive for the director to reference from.
